Travelers Without a Real ID Will Still Be Allowed to Fly, Noem Says

Starting Wednesday, Americans without Real ID-compliant identification will face enhanced airport security screenings. However, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed that they will still be permitted to fly. Acceptable IDs include passports, Global Entry cards, and military IDs. Those without compliant IDs will experience additional security checks but will not be denied boarding.
