NFL Fined Falcons; League, Not Team, Leaked Number
Tap title to read story
The NFL fined the Atlanta Falcons and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich for leaking Shedeur Sanders' phone number. However, the league itself sent Ulbrich the number via email, not the Falcons. Initially, the number was included in a confidential memo to key personnel. Subsequently, a separate email containing only Sanders' new number was sent to all recipients of the NFL's daily transaction report, including Ulbrich. The NFL's claim that the Falcons are at fault is inaccurate, as the league directly provided Ulbrich with the confidential information.
