DHL suspends shipments of more than $800 in response to Trump tariff plan

DHL Express is suspending deliveries exceeding $800 due to increased costs and stricter US Customs regulations stemming from the Trump administration's tariff plan. This follows a lowering of the de minimis value threshold for tariffs from $2,500 to $800. While business-to-business shipments will continue, delays are expected. The change, impacting companies like Temu and Shein, aims to combat the opioid crisis, a claim disputed by China. DHL is among several shipping firms adjusting operations in response to US tariff policy.
