The game featured a third-inning grand slam by Moisés Ballesteros that briefly put the Cubs ahead, a fifth-inning two-run single altering the lead, and a Gavin Sheets solo homer in the eighth. Tom Kean Jr., Republican representative for New Jersey’s 7th District, said Monday that his absence from the House since early March stems from a personal medical issue; he last cast a recorded vote on March 5 and said doctors expect a full recovery and a forthcoming return to a full schedule.

The immediate outcome included agency website maintenance and advocacy warnings this week, with critics saying the accelerated timeline risks confusion and coverage loss for eligible residents. Washington — On April 23, television host Jimmy Kimmel aired a parody monologue in which he joked that First Lady Melania Trump had "a glow like an expectant widow." President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump called for Kimmel’s firing this week and ABC faced public pressure. On April 27 Kimmel publicly said the remark was a roast, not a call to assassination; law enforcement charged suspect Cole Allen and authorities continue an ongoing federal investigation.
