Dak Prescott tossed four touchdowns as the Cowboys beat the Raiders 33-16 at Allegiant Stadium, with George Pickens posting nine catches for 144 yards after a brief disciplinary benching that also included CeeDee Lamb. Dallas honored Marshawn Kneeland pregame with shirts and a dedicated locker. The Cowboys’ run defense stifled Las Vegas, which leaned pass-heavy behind Geno Smith and squandered an early short field. Dallas adjusted to Maxx Crosby and spread the ball, moving to its fourth win while Las Vegas fell to 2-8.

In Week 11, the BOD model correctly called six of the top 10 fantasy defenses, moving its season mark to 55-55. The column outlines a metrics driven approach using pressure, turnovers, EPA and scoring rates, tempered by late week injury and weather updates. For Week 12, Seattle, Cleveland and Chicago headline Tier One, with cases for Baltimore, New England, the Rams, Houston and Detroit in Tier Two. The author flags volatility from quarterback changes and absences, including Ja’Marr Chase’s suspension, and urges readers to track practice reports as tiers shift during the week.

On Tuesday, hearing officer Jordy Nelson will decide whether to uphold the NFL’s one-game suspension without pay of Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase for spitting on Jalen Ramsey. Losing the appeal would cost him $448,333 from his 2025 salary. Chase may argue precedent favors fines over suspensions for spitting, as when Jalen Carter was ejected and fined $57,000. This is the first time a hearing officer will rule on a first offense spitting suspension. His guarantees remain intact unless a ban reaches four games, even as the league signals a hard line.

On Capitol Hill, a raw and emotional press conference closed with Epstein survivors embracing as lawmakers urged the immediate release of Epstein files. Marjorie Taylor Greene said the controversy has “ripped Maga apart” and called out President Trump for calling her a traitor, while Thomas Massie pressed the Senate to act and criticized Speaker Mike Johnson’s delay. Survivors called the fight nonpartisan—citing “institutional betrayal”—and asked Congress to vote yes. The House is expected to vote today; Senate leader John Thune has not committed. Trump has said he would sign the measure.

Giants running back Cam Skattebo, who won’t be back on the field at MetLife Stadium this season, appeared at Madison Square Garden for WWE’s Monday Night Raw with teammates and comedian Andrew Schulz. After Schulz exchanged words with wrestlers, a shove toward him prompted Skattebo—wearing a protective boot for a severe ankle injury—to push back as a staged scuffle broke out. Skattebo stayed behind a thick barrier, limiting his role to stationary shoves, making any major risk to his recovery unlikely, even if some Giants fans might prefer his next hits come in Week 1 of the 2026 season.

The Big Ten’s bid to sell a 10 percent stake in a new Big Ten Enterprises to UC Investments for $2.4 billion has been put on hold after weeks of internal dissent, derailing expected $130 million payouts to 16 schools and delaying a grant of rights extension to 2046. Commissioner Tony Petitti was ready to proceed despite resistance from Michigan and USC, which object to the plan and, in USC’s case, to its place outside the top payout tier. The pause underscores growing fractures amid expansion, even as the league thrives on the field.

In a bruising week for fantasy managers, the Week 12 waiver wire offers relief and urgency. The column spotlights running back stashes and contingencies (from Trey Benson and Sean Tucker to committee pivots) and wideouts ranging from Christian Watson to Tez Johnson, plus one-week plays and stashes. Streamers are mapped out at quarterback, tight end, and DST for Weeks 12–14, with playoff-friendly defenses flagged. A Worry Report targets the sputtering Eagles but notes a favorable run-in, urges caution on Rome Odunze, and elevates TreVeyon Henderson and Jameson Williams as surging plays.

After shrinking portions and skimping on salads, Panera Bread lost traffic and sales; now it’s reversing course. CEO Paul Carbone unveiled Panera RISE, a push to restore food quality, add value options, improve service and build restaurants, with backing from franchisees and JAB Holding. The chain has returned to romaine, will start slicing cherry tomatoes and avocados, and is testing new drinks. Panera will invest more in labor, upgrade its decade-old kiosks and refresh dining rooms. With sales down 5% to $6.1 billion and its ranking at third, management is prioritizing recovery over IPO timing.

U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Jack Reed asked the Justice and Treasury departments to investigate World Liberty Financial, a crypto firm tied to President Donald Trump’s family, citing national security risks. In a letter obtained by CNBC, they point to watchdog findings that WLF sold $WLFI governance tokens to entities linked on-chain to North Korea’s Lazarus Group, a sanctioned Russian evasion tool, an Iranian exchange and Tornado Cash. The senators also flagged conflicts, noting a Trump-affiliated entity receives 75% of token-sale proceeds. Agencies didn’t immediately comment; Trump Jr. and WLF's CEO have dismissed conflict concerns.

After a 33-16 Monday night loss to the Cowboys, Raiders quarterback Geno Smith rejected criticism of Chip Kelly’s play calling, saying the plays were there and his execution fell short. He told reporters to “blame it on me,” even saying everything from school troubles to car breakdowns could be pinned on him. The Raiders are 2-8, and there’s no indication head coach Pete Carroll plans to bench Smith for backup Kenny Pickett. Smith said he must play better.
