Apple’s French regulatory site lists an unreleased iPad mini Smart Folio, the A3632 model, suggesting a new iPad mini is on the horizon. The case’s number does not match any current or past iPad mini cases, implying design changes that may render existing accessories incompatible.

Apple added the listing recently, placing it alongside iPhone 18 Pro accessories that appeared in September. While no specifications are provided, the Smart Folio’s presence hints at a forthcoming OLED iPad mini with a more water‑resistant design.

Rumors point to a launch on October twenty‑seven or twenty‑eight, coinciding with an OLED MacBook Pro debut. The timing and placement of the accessory on Apple’s site reinforce speculation that the next iPad mini will feature a new display and durability upgrades.

Tesla’s next‑generation Roadster stunned a Texas crowd by driving upside down, briefly flying, and accelerating to sixty miles per hour in under a second. The demonstration, held in Waco, showcased the car’s compressed‑air thrusters and fan‑based suction system, which can generate up to two Gs of force.

Elon Musk promised production in twenty‑eighteen, but the vehicle’s regulatory hurdles and technical complexity suggest a longer timeline. While the stunt highlighted Tesla’s engineering ambition, the Roadster remains far from a consumer‑ready product, requiring Federal Aviation Administration and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approvals before it can hit public roads.

The event felt more like a stunt show than a product reveal, with no price, trim, or release date disclosed. Musk emphasized the car’s “rocket‑like” capabilities, noting that it could perform rolls and gymnastics. Despite the excitement, the Roadster’s practical deployment

In 2014, Republican Sen. Susan Collins captured thirty‑nine percent of Maine’s Democratic voters, a notable split‑ticket moment.

By 2020, her share of Democratic voters fell to thirteen percent, signaling growing discontent. The current campaign pits Collins against former Senate President Troy Jackson, who has gained traction among suburban and rural voters.

Analysts note that President Trump’s unpopularity and national issues such as oil prices may dampen Republican turnout, even in traditionally strongholds. Collins’ chief of staff, Steve Abbott, is credited as a "secret weapon" for his constituent‑services strategy, praised even by Democrats. Grassroots efforts, including door‑to‑door canvassing, aim to mobilize voters ahead of the November 3, 2026, general election, where the outcome could reshape Maine’s political landscape.

Alexandria Ocasio‑Cortez visited Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to support Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El‑Sayed, aiming to show progressives can win in red‑leaning areas. The trip highlighted the region’s rural character and its historical Republican dominance, while also revealing pockets of progressive voters.

By campaigning there, Ocasio‑Cortez sought to demonstrate that a progressive candidate can mobilize Democrats in a traditionally red area, potentially influencing the broader party’s strategy for future elections. The visit underscored her broader goal of proving that progressive leadership can succeed in high‑turnout contests, a narrative she has promoted in her campaign messaging.

The Upper Peninsula’s 320‑mile stretch is closer to Duluth than Detroit, and El‑Sayed’s primary win there was a key moment for the Democratic Party. Ocasio‑Cortez’s presence aimed to energize local voters and signal that progressives are a viable choice for swing districts.
