A spokeswoman said the strikes violate international human rights law and occur outside armed conflict, warning of extrajudicial killings. The Trump administration defends the campaign; the latest strike, announced by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, killed four in the eastern Pacific. Officials say there have been 14 strikes, 15 boats destroyed, and at least 61 deaths since early September. Critics, including Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro, question the legality and effectiveness of the operations.
