Texas AG sues makers of Tylenol over hiding alleged links to autism

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued Johnson & Johnson and its spinoff Kenvue, accusing them of deceptively marketing Tylenol to pregnant women amid alleged links to autism and other disorders. Calling drugmakers “Big Pharma,” Paxton vowed to hold them accountable. It’s the first state action since President Donald Trump asserted last month that prenatal Tylenol use raises autism risk, despite limited evidence. Kenvue rejected the claims as misinformation, calling acetaminophen the safest pain reliever in pregnancy and pledging to fight the suit. J&J sold the drug for decades; Kenvue has done so since 2023. The case is developing.
