Four people were killed and 16 injured around midnight Friday in Leland, Mississippi, during a high school homecoming celebration, officials said. Mayor John Lee said the attack unfolded on a main street where crowds gathered for the game against Charleston; at least 12 wounded were hospitalized, and four were airlifted in critical condition, according to state senator Derrick Simmons. No suspects have been identified as the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation leads the probe. Separate homecoming-weekend violence in Heidelberg left two dead; an 18-year-old is sought for questioning.
