Ohtani expected to open Game 7 for Dodgers

The Dodgers forced a World Series Game 7, and Shohei Ohtani is expected to open the winner-take-all contest Saturday, four days after a 93-pitch Game 4. He may cover two to three innings, possibly more, in just his second MLB outing on three days’ rest. Starting him preserves his bat under two-way rules and simplifies in-game logistics.
