Mamdani Leads as Turnout Climbs, Cuomo Scrutinized

With less than a week to go, Democrat Zohran Mamdani retains a sizable lead, though down three points from an earlier October poll, as early voting surges to nearly 298,000 ballots. Independent Andrew M. Cuomo escalated attacks on Mamdani and released a unity-themed ad, even as tax records showed he earned nearly $5 million in 2024; he also abruptly canceled a Brooklyn synagogue town hall, drawing frustration.
