Live updates: Some dead after massive blast at Tennessee military explosives facility

An explosion Friday morning at Accurate Energetic Systems in McEwen, Tennessee, was confirmed by the Hickman County Sheriff's Office, with emergency crews on scene. Local media report multiple people are unaccounted for. Social media video shows embers licking beside cars burned to a crisp, twisted metal strewn across dirt, and smoke obscuring the view. A doorbell camera captured loud bangs. "I thought the house had collapsed with me inside of it," said nearby resident Gentry Stover. The facility supplies energetics for defense, aerospace and demolition, about an hour south of Nashville.
