Russia Hits Ukraine Grid as Tomahawks Debated

Russia struck Ukraine’s power grid overnight into Sunday, wounding two DTEK workers at a Kyiv-region substation and hitting infrastructure in Donetsk, Odesa and Chernihiv, officials said. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy decried escalating aerial attacks — more than 3,100 drones, 92 missiles and about 1,360 glide bombs in a week — and urged tighter measures against buyers of Russian oil. He reported “very productive” calls with U.S. President Donald Trump on air defense and long-range capabilities, as debate over potential Tomahawk deliveries drew sharp concern from the Kremlin and skepticism from Belarus.
