Israel Expects Hostage Release as Aid Surges

Israel said it expects all living hostages in Gaza to be freed Monday under a ceasefire, with 20 released at once to the Red Cross before reunions or hospital care. Afterward, Israel plans to release about 2,000 Palestinian detainees and receive 28 hostages believed dead, as a task force searches for remains. Aid is set to surge to roughly 600 trucks a day; Egypt sent 400 for screening. President Donald Trump will visit Israel and Egypt Monday. Palestinians returned to shattered neighborhoods; 233 bodies were recovered since Friday, and more than 67,000 Palestinians have been killed during the war.
