Explosion at Harvard Building Affected Small Section of Hallway, Officials Say

An intentional explosion early Saturday at Harvard Medical School damaged only a small stretch of a fourth-floor hallway in the Goldenson Building, causing no injuries or structural harm, officials said. The area has been cleared and is fully operational, with labs and equipment intact, and cleaning crews prepared the building for the week. Investigators are seeking two people who fled as a campus police officer arrived after a fire alarm and have released surveillance images. University police reported no active threat and increased their presence on the Longwood campus.
