As HBO and returning showrunner Issa López prepare another True Detective season, Woody Harrelson says he’s done playing Det. Marty Hart. On 3rd Hour of Today, the three-time Oscar nominee shut down hopes of reuniting with Matthew McConaughey, replying “never. No chance,” after McConaughey teased it. Harrelson said Season 1 “turned out great” and another run could “tarnish that.” Though creator Nic Pizzolatto said both stars are “open” to his new idea and McConaughey is “keen,” Harrelson noted the pair will team on a separate half-hour comedy.
