Multiple people were shot Saturday night at Lincoln University during Homecoming weekend, the Chester County district attorney said. Gunfire erupted after 9 p.m. near the football field during tailgate, sending people running; some were treated after being knocked down and trampled. A witness told CBS News Philadelphia he saw one person receiving CPR. Law enforcement is on scene, roads are blocked, and the investigation is ongoing, the DA's office said. Victims' conditions and what led to the shooting remain unclear. The university will offer counseling Sunday, and Gov. Josh Shapiro pledged support and urged people to avoid the area.
