Broadcaster Molly McGrath is transitioning from her long-standing role covering college football to ESPN's NFL beat. The network confirmed the move following internal restructuring updates. McGrath will serve as the sideline reporter for NFL Network's package of games. She will also act as the primary fill-in host for "NFL Live" when regular host Laura Rutledge is absent. Disney previously acquired NFL Network in exchange for a 10% equity stake in ESPN earlier in the year. The broadcast lineup includes a scheduled package of seven regular-season games. Play-by-play broadcaster Dave Pasch is slated to lead the commentary team for these matchups. Additional color commentators for the broadcast assignments have not yet been finalized by network executives. McGrath stated she looks forward to expanding her broadcasting portfolio across studio hosting and sideline assignments at the professional level.
