FAYETTEVILLE — Patricia Groce, an 88-year-old Army veteran, won four gold medals and three silver medals at the Department of Veterans Affairs’ 2026 National Veterans Golden Age Games in Tampa, Fla., held June 28–July 2. Groce competed in the 400-meter run, 50-meter dash, bowling, table tennis, horseshoes, shot put and javelin during her 12th appearance at the event.
