Madison, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced its 14th annual Free Fun Weekend for June 6–7, 2026, waiving admission, fishing license and trail pass requirements and granting access to 50 state parks, 15 state forests, 44 state trails and roughly 15,000 inland lakes; both states scheduled clinics and issued safety advisories ahead of the weekend.
