Jets cornerback Kris Boyd is in critical condition after being shot around 2 a.m. in Midtown Manhattan, on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue, according to the New York Post. Police have made no arrests and are investigating. Boyd, 29, is in his first year with the Jets after signing in March and has spent the season on injured reserve. A 2019 seventh-round pick by the Vikings out of Texas, he has also been with the Cardinals and Texans. The Jets are off this weekend after playing Thursday night.
