Georgia’s 2023 racketeering case against President Donald Trump and allies will continue under Peter Skandalakis, who announced his appointment after saying no other prosecutor would take the assignment. The move follows the disqualification of Fulton County DA Fani Willis after a prolonged legal fight over her relationship with a special prosecutor. Skandalakis said he just received 101 boxes and an 8-terabyte drive from Willis’ office, but it’s unclear if the case will advance.
