Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell took over offensive playcalling from coordinator John Morton after last week’s loss, and the shift fueled a 44-22 rout of the Washington Commanders. Detroit scored on eight straight drives, piled up 546 yards and 226 rushing, and saw Jameson Williams post 119 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jared Goff threw for 320 yards and three scores while praising Morton’s teamwork. Campbell, who didn’t notice President Donald Trump in attendance, called the move collaborative and said he’s primed to carry dual duties for the foreseeable future.
