Micah Parsons will face the Eagles on Monday night, but a previously unreported trade clause ensures he won’t join an NFC East rival anytime soon. ESPN revealed the Cowboys inserted a poison pill in their August deal with Green Bay: if the Packers trade Parsons to an NFC East team this year or next, they owe Dallas their 2028 first-round pick. The reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles had pursued him, but Dallas refused to deal within the division. The swap also sent Kenny Clark to Dallas under a similar constraint. Parsons has 6.5 sacks for first-place Green Bay.
