A month before playoff matchups are set, the AP Top 25 saw a major shakeup, with 19 teams moving and Texas climbing to No. 10. The top five stayed the same: Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia. Ole Miss and Oregon swapped at Nos. 6 and 7 after the Ducks’ narrow win at Iowa, while Texas Tech and Notre Dame each rose one spot. The Longhorns, preseason No. 1, jumped three places and will face the Bulldogs in an SEC showdown this weekend. No. 11 Oklahoma also held steady.
