The 49ers will start Mac Jones for a sixth straight game and eighth this season, while Brock Purdy remains questionable as a potential backup as he nears a return from turf toe. Coach Kyle Shanahan said he has not decided whether to activate Purdy, who hasn’t played since Week 4 after aggravating a Week 1 injury and was inactive last week against the Giants. Receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) is out. Questionable: Dee Winters (knee), Tatum Bethune (thigh), Ben Bartch (ankle), Alfred Collins (hip), Kalia Davis (ankle) and Keion White (groin).
