Head coach Mike Vrabel said the Patriots will be without starting running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe), receiver Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) and linebacker Christian Elliss (hip) for Sunday's road game against the Buccaneers, setting up rookie TreVeyon Henderson's second straight start. Henderson logged 51 snaps last week, rushing for 55 yards and catching four passes for 32. New England likely will again elevate D'Ernest Johnson, with Terrell Jennings the only other back. Kyle Williams is in line for more receiver work. The 7-2 Patriots carry a six-game streak and an unbeaten road mark into facing the 6-2 Buccaneers.
