Marshawn Kneeland, a 24-year-old Dallas Cowboys defensive end, died early Thursday after a police pursuit in Frisco, authorities said. Officers found his crashed vehicle on Dallas Parkway; he fled on foot and, at 1:31 a.m., was discovered with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound after expressing suicidal ideations. The Cowboys called him a beloved teammate and offered condolences to his girlfriend, Catalina, and family. A Western Michigan standout drafted 56th in 2024, Kneeland played 18 games and on Monday recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown.
