The Colts traded for cornerback Sauce Gardner on Tuesday, and head coach Shane Steichen said Wednesday he’s thrilled to add the Pro Bowler and All-Pro. Gardner remains in concussion protocol after missing Indianapolis’ Week 8 win over the Bengals before the Week 9 bye, but Steichen said the cornerback is set to practice Wednesday. If Gardner clears protocol, he will play Sunday when the Colts face the Falcons in Berlin. Gardner has 20 tackles and six passes defensed in seven games this season.
