Ukraine said it launched a large-scale missile and air strike on a key chemical plant in Russia’s Bryansk region, claiming Storm Shadow missiles broke through air defenses, while assessing damage. As Russian attacks killed at least six across Ukraine and hit a Kharkiv kindergarten, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Sweden, where he and Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson signed a letter of intent for Kyiv to buy up to 150 Gripen jets. The EU agreed a 19th sanctions package and the US said new measures were imminent as Zelenskyy prepares to attend an EU summit.
