Apple told a court that Jon Prosser still hasn’t answered its July lawsuit accusing him of stealing trade secrets, and a clerk entered a default last week. Prosser, however, told The Verge he has been in active communication with Apple and isn’t ignoring the case. In the complaint, Apple alleges Prosser and Michael Ramacciotti coordinated to obtain secrets: Ramacciotti allegedly accessed a development iPhone, video-called Prosser, and showed features of iOS 19—officially named iOS 26. Before the software’s announcement, Prosser posted videos on Camera app changes and the Liquid Glass design language.
