Ukrainian drones ignited a fire at Gazprom’s Orenburg gas plant near Kazakhstan, forcing a halt to intake of gas from Kazakhstan, officials said, as Kyiv claimed a separate strike on the Novokuibyshevsk refinery. Ukraine’s military reported a large-scale fire and damage to a processing unit; Russian authorities did not immediately acknowledge the refinery hit. In a Fox News interview, U.S. President Donald Trump suggested Ukraine may have to cede territory and was noncommittal on Tomahawk missiles. Overnight, Russia said it downed 45 drones; Ukraine reported 62 launched.
