Federal prosecutors unsealed a grand jury indictment charging alleged antifa followers Cameron Arnold and Zachary Evetts with providing material support to terrorists, tied to a July 4 attack on an ICE detention facility in Alvarado, Texas. The filing in the Northern District of Texas, which appears to be the first such application to alleged antifa followers, adds to earlier counts from an alleged ambush and attempted killings of two correctional officers and an Alvarado police officer. Prosecutors say an "Antifa cell" planned the assault using firearms and fireworks, sharing reconnaissance, camera locations, a Prarieland area map, and gear logistics.
