Netflix's new mystery thriller, adapted from Ruth Ware's novel, features Keira Knightley as Laura Blacklock, a Guardian reporter who, after exposing a story about Kurdish children, is invited on a private yacht by a wealthy businessman, Richard Bullmer, played by Guy Pearce. On board, Laura witnesses something unusual in the neighboring cabin but struggles to convince others. The drama, despite its entertaining premise, is criticized for its lack of depth.
