Harrods has allocated over £60 million to compensate alleged victims of historical abuse. The luxury department store's redress scheme, launched in March and open until March 2026, expects over 100 employees to claim up to £385,000 each. These claims relate to alleged abuse by former owner Mohamed Al Fayed. Harrods recorded a £34.3 million loss in its latest accounts, partly due to the scheme's costs, with compensation awards already being issued.
