Apple is reportedly preparing a budget-friendly MacBook for mass production in late 2025 or early 2026. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts the 13-inch laptop will utilize an iPhone processor, potentially the A18 Pro or A19 Pro, and offer color options similar to the 24-inch iMac. DigiTimes estimates a $599-$699 price point. The device is expected to feature USB-C ports (limited to 10Gbps), support for a single external display, and a design reminiscent of the 12-inch MacBook. This new model would sit below the MacBook Air in Apple's lineup.
