Noah Wyle won his first Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role in HBO Max's "The Pitt." He beat out fellow nominees including Sterling K. Brown and Pedro Pascal. This is Wyle's sixth acting Emmy nomination and seventh overall, marking a significant career achievement. "The Pitt," which also won several other Emmys, including Best Drama Series, has been renewed for a second season.
