Spotify Premium subscribers in over 50 countries will finally get access to high-quality, lossless audio streaming (24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC) throughout October. Initially announced in 2021, the rollout faced delays due to licensing. Users must manually enable the feature in settings for each device; lossless streaming isn't supported via Bluetooth due to bandwidth limitations, but Spotify Connect offers a workaround. Data usage will be more significant with lossless audio.
