Dolby Vision 2, the successor to the popular HDR format, is here. This upgraded version uses AI-powered "Content Intelligence" to optimize picture quality based on content and ambient lighting. Features include precision blacks for OLEDs and light-sensing technology for automatic brightness adjustments. Dolby Vision 2 will be offered in two tiers: Dolby Vision 2 and the premium Dolby Vision 2 Max, available on high-end TVs. Initial rollout will focus on mainstream TVs using Hisense panels with MediaTek Pentonic 800 chipsets.
