Gmail's Android app is getting a Material 3 Expressive redesign. The update places each email in its own container, adding visual separation with subtle curves and borders. This follows an earlier update that grouped the inbox into a single container. Other changes include a unified bottom bar and a separate search app bar, aligning with Google Drive and Keep. More updates are expected, but the Compose screen and widgets remain unchanged for now.
