Russian strikes in eastern Ukraine killed at least three people in Donetsk, and a child in Zaporizhzhia, with further injuries reported. An energy facility in Odesa was also hit. These attacks follow a summit between Russian President Putin and U.S. President Trump, where Putin called the war a tragedy. Despite this, President Trump urged Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, currently in Washington for meetings, to negotiate a peace deal involving territorial concessions.
