The Milwaukee Brewers extended their winning streak to 11 games with a 14-0 rout of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Sal Frelick and Brice Turang homered against Paul Skenes, while Christian Yelich, Andrew Vaughn, and Caleb Durbin also added home runs. Freddy Peralta pitched six strong innings for the Brewers, who now hold a 7 1/2-game lead in the NL Central. The Brewers' 11-game winning streak is their second of the season and the second-longest in franchise history. Their 23 August home runs lead the major leagues.
