Five Lebanese soldiers were killed in a munitions explosion at a Hezbollah military facility in south Lebanon. The soldiers were removing unexploded ordnance from the site when the blast occurred. The incident follows the UN's discovery of a vast network of Hezbollah tunnels containing weaponry. The Lebanese government recently voted to approve a US proposal aimed at disarming Hezbollah, a move which prompted Hezbollah ministers to walk out of cabinet discussions.
