Hubble Space Telescope captured unprecedented images of interstellar comet 3I/Atlas, the third known to enter our solar system. Initially estimated to be several miles wide, Hubble's observations refined its size to a maximum of 3.5 miles, possibly as small as 1000 feet. Traveling at 130,000 mph, the comet poses no threat to Earth, with its closest approach predicted to be nearer to Mars. The images reveal a teardrop-shaped dust plume and traces of a tail.
