A Ghanaian military helicopter crashed on Wednesday, killing all eight people on board, including the defense and environment ministers, and other high-ranking officials. The helicopter departed Accra and was heading northwest towards Obuasi when it disappeared from radar. The wreckage was discovered in the Ashanti region. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the government has declared it a national tragedy. This is one of Ghana's worst air disasters in over a decade.
