Noah Lyles secured his record-tying fifth US men's 200m title at the 2025 Toyota USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships, clocking a world-leading 19.63 seconds. Despite already having a bye to the World Championships, Lyles competed, winning a tense race against Kenny Bednarek, which ended with a shove from Bednarek. Other notable wins included Melissa Jefferson-Wooden's 100m and 200m double, Donavan Brazier's 800m victory after a three-year hiatus, and Cole Hocker's 5000m win. Several other athletes secured spots on the World Championship team.
