The Cincinnati Reds have acquired third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes from the Pittsburgh Pirates in a trade involving reliever Taylor Rogers and prospect Sammy Stafura. Hayes, 28, brings Gold Glove defense but has struggled offensively this season. The Reds hope his addition boosts their chances of securing a National League Wild Card spot, currently three games behind. Rogers, a free agent after this season, and prospect Stafura head to Pittsburgh.
