Adidas to raise prices as US tariffs cost €200m

Adidas will raise US prices due to new tariffs costing €200 million. The company's chief executive, Bjorn Gulden, stated that these tariffs, imposed on goods from Vietnam and Indonesia (major Adidas production sources), directly increase product costs. Despite this, Adidas reported a 7.3% sales increase to €12.1 billion in the first half of the year, with profits jumping to €1 billion. However, the impact on customer demand remains uncertain.
