Minnesota Vikings safety Josh Metellus has signed a three-year, $36 million contract extension, adding to his existing deal for a total of four years and $39.675 million. The 2020 sixth-round draft pick became a defensive starter in 2023, making 27 starts in 34 games over the past two seasons. Metellus had sat out offseason drills while negotiating the extension.
