A US military veteran working as a security contractor in Gaza revealed horrifying details of violence against unarmed Palestinian civilians. He witnessed US mercenaries pepper-spraying a man picking up noodles and firing live rounds at starving people collecting food at sites run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). The contractor, whose identity was protected, stated that Israeli soldiers and US mercenaries committed these atrocities, contradicting GHF's claims. Over 1,000 Palestinians have died trying to access food since GHF operations began, according to the UN. The contractor highlighted the lack of humanitarian consideration in GHF site planning and suggested that the UN's aid distribution would be more successful with similar support.
